Kinetix Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the access to and use of the Kinetix platform, including our website (Kinetix), mobile application, AI Vision calorie scanner, multi-persona AI fitness coaching engine, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using Kinetix, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please refrain from using our Service.

To deliver personalized AI vision scanning, adaptive fitness questing, and custom AI coach interactions, we collect the following categories of information:

• Account & Contact Information: Name, email address, username, profile avatar, and authentication tokens when creating a Kinetix account.
• Fitness & Wellness Metrics: Daily calorie targets, macro goals (protein, carbs, fat), water intake, weight logs, step counts, exercise logs, and quest progress.
• Gemini AI Vision & Camera Input: Meal and food photographs submitted via our camera scanner feature or sample selector for instant optical macronutrient estimation.
• AI Coach Interaction Logs: Chat messages, voice transcripts (if enabled), coaching persona selections (Coach Alex, Coach Vane, Coach Maya, Dr. Reed, Jax, Zen), and feedback provided during AI workout sessions.
• Technical & Device Telemetry: IP address, device type, operating system version, browser user agent, app diagnostic logs, and local UI preferences (such as selected Cyber, Emerald, Volcanic, or Void theme palettes).

We use the collected information strictly for operational, fitness personalization, and analytical purposes:

Kinetix utilizes advanced generative AI and computer vision models powered by Google Cloud Gemini APIs to provide real-time meal scanning and interactive coaching.

• Enterprise AI Confidentiality: Data sent to Google Gemini APIs is transmitted via encrypted HTTPS channels under enterprise API privacy terms. Your raw meal images and chat inputs are NOT retained to train public foundational AI models.
• No Biometric Facial Scanning: Our AI Vision feature is specifically restricted to food, meal, ingredient, and exercise posture analysis. We do not perform facial recognition, facial profiling, or biometric identification.
• Third-Party Infrastructure: Secure cloud servers (AWS / Google Cloud / Vercel) host our API endpoints and database storage under strict SOC 2 type compliance standards.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or health data to third-party data brokers or marketing agencies. We disclose data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Essential Service Providers: Trusted third-party vendors (cloud hosting, backend database management, customer support tools) operating under strict data protection agreements.
• Legal Obligations: If required by applicable law, regulation, subpoena, or valid court order to protect legal rights, user safety, or public security.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of company assets, user data will remain subject to the commitments made in this Privacy Policy.

We employ multi-layered technical and organizational safeguards to shield your data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure:

• Encryption in Transit & At Rest: All web traffic is encrypted using TLS 1.3 standard, and data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 standards.
• Session & Local Storage Security: Theme palettes and simulator tokens are stored locally on your device using browser `localStorage` and `sessionStorage`.
• Retention Period: We retain account data for as long as your account remains active. Upon account closure, personal data and chat transcripts are purged within 30 days.

Depending on your geographic location, you enjoy specific legal rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to Access & Export: Request a full, machine-readable JSON copy of your Kinetix profile, workout logs, and macro history.
• Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request complete deletion of your account and all stored AI coach conversation histories.
• Right to Rectification: Edit or correct any inaccurate personal metrics or target preferences in the app profile tab.
• Camera & Photo Access Consent: Grant or revoke camera access anytime through your browser or mobile device operating system permissions.
• Non-Discrimination: We will never penalize or discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

You have full control over your personal data and account status. If you wish to request the deletion of your data or permanently delete your account, you can do so through either of the following options:

• In-App Deletion: You can login to the Kinetix mobile app, navigate to the Profile Screen, and choose to delete your data and account directly.
• Email Request: You can contact our support team at support@kinetix.dyllee.com to request that your data or account be deleted.

Kinetix uses zero invasive third-party ad tracking cookies. We utilize essential HTML5 Local Storage (`localStorage`) solely for client-side app operations:

• `kinetix_theme`: Stores your active UI theme selection (Cyberpunk, Emerald, Volcanic, Void).
• `kinetix_beta_status`: Remembers modal dismissals and simulator interactive state.

Kinetix is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain European jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a minor under 13 has provided personal data, we will take immediate steps to delete such information from our servers.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new features, AI capabilities, or legal requirements. Material updates will be announced on our website banner or sent via app notifications.
